How to Vote in Local 1549’s Officer Elections (Nov 2024)
Local 1549 is conducting an election for its executive board officers, delegates to DC 37, and delegates to the Central Labor Council from November 1, 2024, to November 22, 2024. Cast ballots will be tallied at 11:00 AM on November 22.

How to Vote by Mail
Read the ballot carefully before marking.
Mark the ballot in the box(es) which express(es) your choice. Do not vote for more candidates than authorized for an office. IF YOU VOTE FOR MORE CANDIDATES THAN AUTHORIZED FOR AN OFFICE, YOUR VOTE FOR THAT OFFICE WILL BE VOID.
Place your ballot inside the small white envelope which has the words SECRET BALLOT on the front and seal the envelope.
Put the sealed SECRET BALLOT envelope inside the business reply envelope addressed to the American Arbitration Association and seal the envelope.
DO NOT DEFACE OR MAR YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS OR THE CONTROL NUMBER ON THE BUSINESS REPLY ENVELOPE. It will be used by the American Arbitration Association to determine eligibility at the ballot count. The secrecy of your vote will be protected because the SECRET BALLOT envelope will be separated from the business reply envelope before counting.
Mail the business reply envelope as soon as possible. No postage is necessary if mailed in the United States. YOUR BUSINESS REPLY ENVELOPE MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION NO LATER THAN 9:00 A.M., FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2024.
The ballot count will take place starting at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 22, 2024, at the office of the American Arbitration Association, located at 120 Broadway, Concourse Level, New York, NY 10271.
REMINDER: DO NOT CUT OR SIGN YOUR BALLOT.

If you did not receive a ballot for the election by Wednesday, November 6, 2024, then contact AAA at 1- 800-529-5218 (during normal business hours) or email your duplicate ballot request to Sacha Ulerio at ulerios@adr.org. All requests for duplicate ballots must include the following:
Member’s first and last name.
Member’s home mailing address (Street, Apt, City, State, Zip Code).
Member’s phone number
You must note you're from: Local 1549, DC 37 AFSCME.
Requests for duplicate ballots for the election, if any, will not be accepted after November 18, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
